The Great Catholic Smoke-out is a uniquely Catholic approach to smoking cessation that originated at this parish. The program offers the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick after all the Masses on Ash Wednesday for those commited to quitting on Ash Wednesday. We meet every day for a week and then weekly into the Easter season. Parish nurses help with the program by offering health advice and information on the hazards of smoking.
