How Do I?
Get Married in the Church
Marriage is one of the seven Sacraments of the Church, through which a man and a woman pledge their lives together as husband and wife. It is a great privilege and blessing for a man and woman to give each other the Sacrament of Marriage in a wedding ceremony. Some basic details about the process of scheduling a wedding at Epiphany.
1. You must contact the parish at least 6 months in advance of your wedding.
2. There is a required period of counseling and formation so that both of you understand completely what you are undertking.
3. There is no charge to be married in the church. If you want to have a reception or dinner in our other facilities, see the Church Facilities page for information about those costs.
4. You will discuss the details of the wedding liturgy with our pastor, and the music with our director of music and liturgy. No secular/popular music is allowed during the ceremony itself or for the procession or the recessional. No recorded music is allowed during the ceremony.
